For you avid “Mad Men” watchers out there, it no doubt came as a surprise that Don Draper (Jon Hamm) proposed to his secretary Megan Calvet (Jessica Pare) in this season’s finale.

ABCNews.com chatted with Jessica Pare and asked her about her somewhat large teeth:

What was that all about — the throwaway line about your bad teeth?

I think it’s a moment where it’s sort of intimate between the two of them. She’s being open and vulnerable and he is asking her about her evening. It’s something that bothered her.

Do your teeth bother you?

I rarely think about them, although it’s happened before that I get comments and that, of course, makes me self-conscious. But I never get anything stuck in my teeth!

All we can say is “Bravo Jessica!” She obviously takes very good care of her pearly whites and has a healthy oral care routine.

It’s important to brush and floss regularly to avoid getting food particles stuck in your teeth. These food particles can become plaque and eventually tartar than can lead to gum disease.
