iPhone 5 Rumors – Updated

Friday, March 11th, 2011

For those of you that aren’t already counting down the days, the new iPhone 5 is expected to release this summer.  Given that the new phone is just a few months away, there have been tons of rumors online about what the new iPhone will and won’t be. Some say that there will be an aluminum backing and a new antenna, but who really knows for sure? Well, since the rumor mill is already running about the new features in the iPhone 5, we thought we should join in the fun.

For those of you that already have an iPhone, you might be aware that there are almost a dozen different iPhone applications that are supposed “bad breath detectors”. Do any of them actually work? Not as far as we can tell. How great would it be to be able to breathe on your iPhone and have it actually tell you that your breath is a little funky and you might want to grab a piece of TheraBreath gum

We love the idea and would like to suggest that the new iPhone 5 is going to have built-in breath meter! All you’ll have to do is breathe into a little device that comes built into the phone and it will tell you how bad your breath is. You already breathe on your phone all the time while you’re talking anyway so this will be very convenient.

Do we have any sources to back this up? Not at all! But if any of you are apple developers out there, hey it’s something to think about. Could a built-in breath detector actually work? Probably not, but what the heck – it’s not nearly as far-fetched as the rumor we heard about the biometric reader or the built-in cash transaction functions.
