TheraBreath Testimonials

Monday, February 28th, 2011

We receive many testimonials from customers all over the world. However, two recently caught our attention that we would like to share with you.

“I thought I’d drop you a line to let you know how thrilled I am to find TheraBreath Mouth Wetting Lozenges! I’m a voice over actress and narrator and we work with very sensitive microphones. Little mouth clicks are an infuriating problem. They’re time-consuming to edit out—when you can. Sometimes they ruin a take entirely. Mouth noise is a really good way to irritate an audio engineer and not get asked back into a studio.

The traditional recommendation is tart green apples, but it’s impractical to always have them with you. And if you do this full-time like I do, that’s a lot of apples!

I just stumbled upon the lozenges at CVS yesterday and thought I’d give them a shot. Oh my goodness! I am thrilled! And since they’re individually wrapped, I can always have a handful in my purse, my glove box, and right next to my mic stand. I’m recording a long narration right now and they are totally saving the day. Thanks!”

One reader of Amy’s testimonial sent her a very touching one, which she passed on to us. Amy wrote “By the way, I got this note the other day from my friend whose daughter is undergoing chemo.” Here is her friend’s testimonial.

“You posted about those mouth wetting lozenges for your voiceover peeps…..Emma needs to move the radiation out of her salivary glands for four days. The doc suggested lemon drops because they are sour. They are not sour. They are sugary lemon flavor drops. Not sour at all. So we’ve been looking for something to get the salivary glands going. Then you posted about the lozenges! I picked some up yesterday. Emma likes them (bonus!) and she says they do the trick!  Yay! So….thanks for passing that along, even though you didn’t intend it for Emma! Love, N.”

The Latest TheraBreath Blog Reviews and Giveaways

Thursday, February 24th, 2011

Bargain Mom has posted her review of our TheraBreath Oral Rinse, Toothpaste and TheraBreath’s Mouth-Wetting Lozenges. Unlike other reviews, Bargain Mom was already using our Oral Rinse for six months prior to her review. Did our other products add to her daily oral care regimen or did they disappoint? You’ll have to check out her review to find out! Here’s how Bargain Mom came to find TheraBreath’s Oral rinse on her own: “My sister and I were shopping one day for household goods, and we both decided to try TheraBreath. We were frustrated with the mouth washes that we had used in the past. They were too strong, and didn’t have the lasting effect that they promised, or that we desired.” Go to http://www.bargainmom.net/2011/02/therabreath-review-giveaway-3-winners.html to read on. While you’re there, be sure to enter her TheraBreath giveaway for a chance to win some TheraBreath products of your very own.

Do you chew a lot of gum? Then you definitely need to read Sweep Tight’s review on TheraBreath. She writes “I have been an obsessive gum chewer since my early childhood.  Part of the reason is because it makes my mouth feel fresh.  Well, although I only purchase sugar free, I know it can’t be that great for me.  My jaws have been letting me know they aren’t pleased with this constant chomping for a while now. I was eager to try the TheraBreath products to see if they would produce a lasting fresh feeling to maybe deter me from constantly shoving another piece of gum in my mouth.  Right after I brush my teeth I usually don’t want gum for a while.  But after the first piece, I am a chain-chewer.  Two-pack-a-day-er.  (Better than smoking!)” Was TheraBreath able to cut down Jen’s gum habit? You’ll have to read her review at http://www.sweeptight.com/2011/02/therabreath-oral-care-ends3411/ to find out. She’s always hosting a TheraBreath giveaway, so why not enter while you’re reading?

The Frugal Military Wife is a “faithful coffee drinker” like a lot of us. Did TheraBreath products help to eliminate her coffee breath? You’ll have to stop by The Frugal Military Wife’s blog to check out her TheraBreath review. Find out is she loved her products and be sure to enter her TheraBreath Giveaway for a chance to win some TheraBreath products of your very own – completely free! Amber’s blog has reviews and giveaways on everything from nose wipes to cheerios. Whatever your interests, you’re bound to find a review (and giveaway) for something that you’ll love.

Bad Breath Smell Permeates Baltimore

Monday, February 21st, 2011

Due to a leak of the chemical mercaptan (according to the Frederick News Post) an odor compared to rotten cabbage has been permeating the air from West Virginia all the way to Baltimore. The Maryland Emergency Management Agency has been monitoring the mercaptan leak that originated in West Virginia. Residents may have to put up with the smell until it subsides, but luckily there is no real cause for alarm. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration reports that residents shouldn’t alarmed as the gas is only dangerous at very concentrated levels. The funky stench may be annoying but at least it isn’t harmful.

What is mercaptan? It’s a relatively benign chemical that is often mixed with odorless natural gas to help detect natural gas leaks. Interestingly, mercaptan is one of the main gases produced by oral bacteria to create bad breath. Just imagine when someone at the office speaks to you and you’re hit with a serious case of halitosis or morning breath – that is exactly what the residents throughout Frederick, Prince George’s and Montgomery counties have had to smell but on a larger scale, reports the Baltimore Sun.

While we can only offer sympathy to those affected by the mercaptan leak, we do have solutions for those that have the rotten cabbage smell coming from their mouths. If you have chronic or severe halitosis, we suggest trying TheraBreath’s line of TheraBreath PLUS – our most potent line for those suffering from constant problem bad breath. Is dry mouth the cause of your bad breath? You can shop by solution at www.TheraBreath.com and view our products specifically recommended to stop dry mouth.  You can customize your own products or pick one of our already configured starter kits.

Whether it’s in the air or coming from someone’s mouth, the smell of rotten anything is not pleasant. Be sure you aren’t contributing to the smell by using TheraBreath products – they are guaranteed to stop bad breath.

Aphrodisiacs Foods May Lead to Unromantic Breath

Monday, February 14th, 2011

Are you planning a romantic Valentine’s Day with your sweetie? A scrumptious dinner perhaps? There are a few foods that are well known to increase the libido, but may also serve up a side of bad breath. This doesn’t mean that you need to skip the aphrodisiacs for a plainer meal, just be aware of their possible links to unromantic breath and do you best to prevent it.

Oysters – a food at the top of the aphrodisiac list, oysters (and most shellfish) are known to have an unpleasant odor with it. While they taste divine, the smell may take remain in your mouth if you don’t take care to freshen your breath after your meal. The food particles may linger, resulting in halitosis.

Garlic and Figs – these foods that are known to increase sex drive have been linked to bad breath, as we have discussed in previous posts. Although they are very delicious touches to a dish, figs and garlic both have high levels of sulfur compounds, which commonly cause bad smelling breath. Bad breath itself is caused by volatile sulfur-producing compounds that thrive in an anaerobic environment – a dry mouth. Eating figs and garlic are really just adding more fuel to the fire of foul breath. A quick solution would be to chew a piece of TheraBreath Chewing Gum post-meal. It’s amazing how fast the garlicky smell is neutralized, as if you never enjoyed the garlic in the first place!
