You are absolutely right! I believe oral health is one of the most overlooked health issues.
Perhaps because it is easy to ignore since it's effects are not immediate.
How about the media? What kind of coverage does oral health or floss get?
Notice that the oral care isles in stores steadily decrease in size over the years?
Every store has candy gum and junk food at check out, hardly ever a healthy product...wonder why America is getting heavier, and disease rates on the rise...?
Why don't people floss regularly? I am doing research for a company that is releasing a new floss product on the market...I would like to have some opinions why floss doesn't work for you...

Heart disease is the #1 killer in the US, we would be fools to think oral health is not a major factor in that. Think about it, if you have disease in your mouth everything and every time you swallow you are transporting that to every cell in your body...I know it’s a disgusting thought, but it is reality.
Flossing after you eat to remove food debris can eliminate a huge part of the problem…and everyone gets food stuck between their teeth. Maybe we have a new solution to an age old problem….and people will actually use it! Opinions please!
